Question:   I want to lose weight – will Sara G help me?

Answer:    Oh yes! We will inspire you with Fitness Walking which will help with weight loss and body toning. In addition to these weekly classes, we will hold special “Food for Thought” seminars. These will be open to everyone – Sara G members and non members. Your Sara G mentor will keep you well informed of the next seminar date.

Question:  Can I bring my baby in a buggy or child to a "Sara G" Walk-ercise class?

Answer:     You can but note that Fitness walking with a buggy will compromise your fitness walking technique because you cannot swing your arms properly whilst pushing the buggy. Please do not be offended if we ask you to start at the rear of the group so you can keep an eye on everyone’s ankles! We must stress that the mentor will not be able to keep the group pace to the level of buggys or young children and therefore you may find yourself walking on own. We will be having Family Walks in the holidays when we will work to keep the group together. Please contact Sara G about the next Family Walk-ercise holiday class.

Question:   Can I bring my dog to a “Sara G” class?

Answer:      Sara G feels it would be difficult for an individual to fitness walk with a dog in a class and therefore does not allow dogs on our class fitness walks. However, we would look at running a class for owners and their dogs, so contact us to register your interest for this today!

Question:   Do the routes always stay on pavements or do you go across fields?

Answer:      We will always walk routes with firm pavements that complement the Fitness Walking technique.

Question:   Am I too old or too unfit for a “Sara G” class!

Answer:     You are never too old to start walking as a form of exercise! If you feel particularly unfit, listen to your body and set your own pace. “Sara G” classes are not a race! If you have any health problems or concerns, we would ask you to always consult your doctor before starting a "Sara G" class.
